09/12/2003 The day-long picket of the 409 Edgeware Road Esso Station by London greenpeace activists (on Saturday the 13th) was a resounding success. Blake Ludwig reports: "We had an incredible day with 23 people, representing local Greenpeace groups from Camden, Reading, Essex, West and South London, as well as a rep from Friends of the Earth." "The public was very supportive, as well as the Esso station manager, and the local police were more than helpful. We had plenty of Tigers prowling the sidewalks, and there was lots of Clowning around (we had our own Esso Clown Scientists!)" "Thanks to everyone for your hard work on a cold and wet day."
