06/02/2004

Today Rex Tillerson, the executive to succeed Lee Raymond as CEO of ExxonMobil, appeared in an open forum on the University of Texas campus to promote ExxonMobil.

As he read his lecture to a packed auditorium of less than enthusiastic students, a drunk Irish teenager and his friend wondered out loud about his lame speech and inability to read it.

Soon after he got back on track he began bragging about Exxon's illustrious acts of human kindness, their vaccination programs, how they "never" allow human rights abuses and their progressive technology advancements.

For one older woman dressed in a suit this must have been too much because she completely interrupted his speech by holding up a sign that said "LIAR" and then invited everyone to find out the truth about ExxonMobil: why they distort scientific information about global warming and why they cover up their human rights and animal abuses.

Thanks to the IndyMedia Texas website.
These hecklers were kicked out and informed that because of their atrocious rudeness Rex Tillerson will never visit campus again.
